Buttplate Marlin model 39 with HS serial number

Buttplate Marlin model 39. This was used if you have a serial number with H5 preceding it. This buttplate also indicated that the rifle could shoot higher speed ammo. It is a reproduction of an original buttplate made from high quality urethane. Your buttplate comes with fitting instructions, as some minor fitting MAY be required, but not always. Dimensions are as follows; Overall Length is 4 3/16 inches; Width at widest point is 1 4/16 inches. From middle of top screw hole to top of buttplate is 1/2 inch; Middle of bottom screw hole to bottom of buttplate is 3/4 inches. The center to center measurement between the screw holes is 2 7/8 (allow slight variance in measurements, because the holes in the buttplates are much larger than the holes in your stock (they are counter sunk screw heads). To attach the plate to your stock, use buttplate screws wp 55 or wp69.
