This is the Firing pin striker stop pin Winchester 1894 and model 64 and model 55 . This is not a solid pin alloWinchesterg it to be press-fitted into the hole. It goes through the cut out in the firing pin striker. Along with retaining the striker in the locking bolt it also permits the firing pin striker to move backward out of contact with the cartridge preventing accidental discharge.
