This is an ORIGINAL tenon Winchester 1886 and model 71 lever action rifle. This tenon is different from the tenon used on the other lever actions. This part slides into the cutout on the underside of the barrel. The forearm cap screws (part number wp54-b) screw into this tenon and hold your forearm cap in place securing the wooden forearm onto the rifle.
