This magazine ring (mag hanger) will fit Winchester 1894 (all calibers) It will also fit the 1866 (after 16,000) and 1873 in .38 and .44 cal. Also the 1892 in .38 and .44 cal. It has a hole in the base magazine ring pin part number wp726pin. This pin is what holds the magazine tube in place. REMEMBER The hangers do not go in like a sight does. The hangers TWIST in and out of the slot. NOTE: The early (before 16,000) 1866 hangers were secured to the bottom of the barrel by 2 screws.
