This is the button magazine plug Winchester model 1892, 1873 small cal rifles. If you have a rifle (that has the forearm cap--not the carbine with the barrel band)and have a shortened magazine that does not extForearm past the Forearm of the cap (Takedown model) this is the magazine plug you should have. The forearm cap holds this plug in.
