This is an ORIGINAL antique Marble rear sight model 70 (or any of the lever-action Winchesters) it fits into the 3/8 inch dovetail on the barrel. This rear-sight allows for Windage. There is an adjustable sight height from .460 inches to .560 inches. It also has a great feature that allows it to fold down and lay flat on the barrel when not in use.
