This is the butt stock Winchester model 1895. It is made out of high quality black walnut like the originals. It is 95 percent inlet and will require minor fitting around tang and buttplate area. This stock uses the metal checkered buttplate with the claw on top (part number 846 or 829)It also fits the type 2B buttplate that is just like the 846 but has smooth metal and not checkered.
