This is the forearm Winchester model 62-62A post war. After 1939 production Winchester changed the forearm from the smaller pre war style to this style Winchester 62-62A. It has 17 grooves that wrap around entire forearm. The bottom of the forearm is round. It is a high quality black walnut and ALREADY HAS THE euscutcheons pressed in place to protect the wood from the forearm. This forearm is 98 percent done. Minor sanding and finishing is all it will take!
