This is the magazine ring (also called mag hanger) Winchester 1892 rifle in small caliber (25 and 32 cals etc),and model 55 and 64. It is take down version and does NOT have a pin hole in the base. On the take down versions the magazine tube screws into the takedown extension so it does not need a pin to hold the tube in. THIS RING IS LIGHT WEIGHT RIFLE OR RAPID TAPER BARREL.
