Pin model 62 breech block lock

This is a special-made pin that holds the model 62 breech block lock in place. The pin has an enlaged head that is utilized to hold the breech block lock in place. If your pin is worn, probably the breech block lock (wp11-b) is also worn. You will see this bolt design in the model 62's from serial number 24,002 up to 98,000. In 1935 Winchester changed its locking system, and the firing pin was no used to keep the bolt locked.
