This is an ORIGINAL No 21 front sight that was placed on Winchester lever action Sporting rifles. This sight measures .375 high and came from the factory on 1873, 1894, 1892, and 1895 rifles. It fits into the 3/8 inch dovetail on the front of the barrel and has a screw for tightening into the dovetail. The middle blade is either brass (most common) or silver, set into the base of the sight.
