This is a HARD-TO-FIND barrel for the Model 2 Remington rolling block rifle in .22 caliber . This ORIGINAL barrel still has rifling with markings in the lands, with the bore rating between fair and good. Bluing is slightly worn on the outside but most of metal surface is still covered with either bluing or patina. Roll-die markings still crisp on the barrel top and threads to the receiver are in excellent condition.
