This is the hard plastic buttplate Winchester model 12. It fits the 16 & 20 gauge. It is also buttplate for M42 in .410 and model 21 and 37. It is a reproduction of an original buttplate made from high quality urethane. Your buttplate comes with fitting instructions, as some minor fitting MAY be required (not always). Dimensions are as follows; Overall Length is 4 7/8 inches; Width at widest point is 1 1/2 inches. From top of plate to center of top screw hole is a 3/8 inch; from bottom of plate to center of bottom screw hole is 1 1/4 inches. The center to center measurement of the screw holes (from center of holes) is, 3 1/4 inches (allow slight variance in measurements, because the holes in the buttplates are much larger than the holes in your stock (they are counter sunk screw heads). To attach the plate to your stock, use buttplate screws wp57. MORE TIMES THAN NOT I HAVE FOUND THE 16 G. USES THE 12 G BUTTPLATE, MAKE SURE YOU COMPARE MEASUREMENTS.
