Savage Model 19 NRAThe Savage Model 19 N.R.A. Match Rifle is a bolt-action, designed in the early 1900s by Savage Arms in collaboration with the National Rifle Association (NRA) and competitive shooters. The rifle appeared in 1919 and ~40,000 rifles were produced throughout 1937. The rifle was designed for small-bore rifle competitions and was used in National Matches starting in 1919. The rifle stock was of military configuration, with finger grooves in the fore-end and sling swivels. This stock configuration made the rifle quite adaptable for firing in a number of different positions, including standing, prone, and sitting. The Model 19 barrel length is 25 inches, and it has a five-shot, detachable box magazine.
