This is a buttplate for the Remington Model 742 & Model 760 Rifles. It is an original buttplate. Comes with fitting instructions, as some minor fitting MAY be required, but not always. Dimensions are Approximately 5 1/16" X 1 9/16". Allow for a slight variance in measurements, because the holes in the buttplates are countersunk making them much larger than the holes you will be measuring from in your stock.
