Buttplate for Sauer and Sohns SS Luftwaffe Drillings Rifles and Doubles. It is a reproduction of an original buttplate made from high quality urethane. It has a SSu logo on the front, and also has a slight curve. Your buttplate comes with fitting instructions, as some minor fitting MAY be required, but not always. Dimensions are as follows; Overall Length is 5 1/16; Width at widest point is 11 1/2 inches. From top of plate to center of top screw hole is 5/8 inches; from bottom of plate to center of bottom screw hole is 1 1/4 inches. The center to center measurements between the screw holes is 3 1/4 inches (allow slight variance in measurements , because the holes in the buttplates are much larger than the holes in your stock (they are counter sunk screw heads). To attach the plate to your stock, use buttplate screws wp57.
