This is an ORIGINAL No 21 front sight that was placed on the very early lever action Sporting rifles. This sight measures .375 high and came from the factory on 1873, 1894, 1892, and 1895 rifles. It fits into the 3/8 inch dovetail on the front of the barrel. The middle blade in either brass or silver and is set into the base of the sight.
