For those collectors who want authenticity on their early Winchester rifle slings. These fit into the buttstock and forearm on the Winchester 1866, 1876, 1873, 1892, 1894 and 1895. Some of the models came standard with this from the factory and on some it was an upgrade option. This is the Factory ORIGINAL sling hook used for mounting leather slings on the early Winchester rifles. We acquired these from a retired Winchester parts dealer, who directly ordered them from the Winchester Factory in Conneciticut before the company went out of business.
