This is the screw that holds on the front of the Lyman and Marbles tang sight. It goes into the front hole (where the stock screw goes into the rear hole) This screw fits Winchester 1873 , 1892 , 1894, model 53 and .22 cal rifles that use a tang mounted sight. If your rifle does not use the tang sight then you can use a plug screw to fill the hole. Part number wp53 Note: this will not work on the NEW Marbles tang sights, the head is not large enough.
