This is a new 24 3/8 inch octagon barrel Winchester 1873 44 WCF. This barrel was made here in the US by a very talented gentlemen that specializes in Winchester restorations. This is not a cheap replacement barrel, but a NEW factory quality made from 4140 gun barrel steel with accurate roll-die markings with the Winchester logo and address. It has a .422 Bore .430 Groove 1x28 twist. All dove tails for sights are cut along with Magazine Hanger (magazine ring) cut outs exactly at the location where Winchester cut their barrels.. These barrels are ready to be installed! There is also a comparison picture of the inscription from an original 1873 barrel.
