This is a buttplate for the Remington Early Model 11 Shotgun. It is a reproduction of an original buttplate made in the US, from high-quality urethane. It says “Remington" horizontally below the top screw hole. It alos has "Automatic" below the bottom screw hole in a "u" shape. It is flat with horizontal lines between the screw holes. Your buttplate comes with fitting/ shaping instructions, as some minor fitting MAY be required, but not always. Dimensions are as follows; Overall Length is 5 inches; Width at widest point is 1 11/16 inches. From top of plate to center of top screw hole is 1/2 inches; from bottom of plate to center of bottom screw hole is 1 3/16 inches. The center to center measurement between the screw holes is 3 1/8 inches (allow for a slight variance in measurements, because the holes in the buttplates are countersunk making them much larger than the holes you will be measuring from in your stock.
