This is a buttplate for the L.C. Smith 12 Gauge Buttplate Fat Size (1/2" Thick). Thickness Is Factory Fix For Extending Stock Or Filling In Cut Off Stocks It is a reproduction of an original buttplate made in the US, from high-quality urethane. Your buttplate comes with fitting instructions, as some minor fitting MAY be required, but not always. Dimensions are Approximately 4 7/8" X 1 7/16". Allow for a slight variance in measurements, because the holes in the buttplates are countersunk making them much larger than the holes you will be measuring from in your stock.
