This is the front sight cover Winchester 1894 pre and post 64 models. They are blued and ready to install! (it is not the same as the model 70 hood, they are a different shape). This hood is 0.488 inches high inside, so be sure that the blade on your front sight is not higher. Keep in mind if your post 64 does not have grooves in the side of the ramp then it will not take a sight hood.original
