This is a VERY RARE No 21L Winchestr front sight that that has the highest blade in the 21 series. This sight has a .39 high blade and a patent date of Nov 4 1892 stamped on the side. These were custom orde sights placed on Winchester lever-action 1873, 1894, 1892, 1895 rifles and on the 1885. This early number 21L front sight has a set screw.
