Lyman No. 42 side-mount peep sight ORIGINAL PATENTED IN 1907 and made through 1964. This peep sight was originally produced for a number of 22 rifles including the Winchester Model 56, 7, 9 60, 8, 72, 74, 60, 68 along with Remington, Stevens, Savage and Hopkins Allen rifles. This No 42 SS sight was taken from a Savage Model 22 (1922) and is in excellent condition with the number 3 stamped on the underside. A very rare ORIGINAL Lyman sight FOR 22 rifles, and one of the most accurate rear peep sights on the market today.
