This is an original 1906 stock in GOOD Condition. This is an ORIGINAL so color and finish varies. Wood is most often gumwood, but a few are walnut. There will be moderate handling marks and crack in neck (if it had one) will have been repaired and is solid but there will be no visible evidence of repait when stock is mounted on rifle. All stocks will fit tightly to the metal tang. You will need buttplate number bp801 or bp914 with screws wp69
