This is a buttplate for the Marlin Golden 39A Rifle. This is a reproduction fo the Origingal Size Golden 39a, SN near 21266xxx. Marlin in Oval. It is a reproduction of an original buttplate made in the US, from high-quality urethane. Your buttplate comes with fitting instructions, as some minor fitting MAY be required, but not always. Dimensions are Approximately 4 11/16" X 1 7/16". Allow for a slight variance in measurements, because the holes in the buttplates are countersunk making them much larger than the holes you will be measuring from in your stock.
