This is the magazine spring Winchester 1886 lever action rifle. It is identicle to the 1876 spring and the same for all of the calibers. rifle the magazine spring should be 6 inches longer than the Forearm of the magazine with the follower in place and 4 inches longer carbines (when your Forearm plug is not in place) it measures 40 inches uncut
