This is an ORIGINAL No 23G Winchester front sight that that has a blade height of .225 inches. This is the early number 23 sight with a wide, .09"-thick base and has a patent date of Nov 4 1902 stamped on the base. These sights were placed on the Winchester Model 53, 55, 64, and 65 rifle.
