This is an ORIGINAL extractor .38-40 or 44-40 cal Winchester 1873 rifle. There is no spring associated with this extractor because the extractor itself is a spring. Use pin p118 to hold the extractor into the top of the breech bolt. Note: this extractor will NOT work in the 32-20 cal 1873 rifles. The correct extractor 32-20 is part number (wp235 wop).
