ORIGINAL Buttplate for the Winchester Model 94 post-64 and Winchester model 12 in 28 gauge and will fit Model 37 stocks. This is an original buttplate, made from high quality urethane, that was put on at the Winchyester Factory. It has Winchester written vertically with Trade Mark under it on a checkered background, smooth line around the perimeter. Each buttplate comes with fitting instructions, as some minor fitting MAY be required (not always). Dimensions are as follows; Length; 5 inches; Width at widest point; 1 9/16 inches. From top of plate to center of top screw hole is 1/4 inches; from bottom of plate to center of bottom screw hole is 1 3/8 inch. (allow slight variance in measurements, because the holes in the buttplates are much larger than the holes in your stock (they are countersunk screw heads). To attach the plate to your stock, use original buttplate screws wp284, or NEW screws wp57..
