This part fits the Winchester 1894 lever action rifle and model 64 and model 55 . The striker is the part of the firing pin assamebly that is sruck by the hammer and penetrates the locking bolt to strike the firing pin. The elongated cutout allows the striker to hit the primer then move back out of contact to prevent accidental discharge.
