This is an ORIGINAL forearm Cap for the Winchester 1886 LIGHTWEIGHT lever action rifle. This is an ORIGINAL part taken from lightweight 1886 octagon barrel. The forearm cap screws (part number wp54-b) screw through a tenon and hold your forearm cap in place securing the wooden forearm onto the rifle. Measurement across opening width at top of cap .72 inches
