This is the forearm Winchester model 62-62A post war. After 1939 production Winchester changed the forearm from the smaller pre war style to this style Winchester 62-62A. It has 17 grooves that wrap around entire forearm. The bottom of the forearm is round. It is a high quality black walnut and ALREADY HAS THE euscutcheons pressed in place to protect the wood from the forearm. This forearm is ORIGINAL and has some wear.
