This is the hard to find ORIGINAL slotted front Magazine Hanger (magazine ring) for 1890 and 1906 and 62 Winchester pump .22 rifles. It has a groove cut in the inside base to allow the magazine friction spring to rest inside. You can use this hanger in the 62 62A 61's that do not use the mag friction spring as well (but part number 724 is usually what you want to use if you do not have a mag friction spring) These are original parts so finish varies. Remember do NOT pound these straight out or you will stretch the metal dovetails on the barrel. They twist in and out. If this has been done and your dovetail is stretched out then you will need the oversized hanger part number 725A
