This an ORIGINAL hanger that attaches to the underside of the barrel on the Winchester 1873 and 1892 rifle (or carbine) in larger calibers. This will fit only on the larger cal rifles. There is a pin that goes through the base of the hanger which holds the magazine tube in place. Pin is part number 728pin. REMEMBER The hangers do not go in like a sight does. The hangers only TWIST in and out of the dovetail slot.
