This is AN ORIGINAL Receiver for the Winchester model 1895. Seial number is 493xx . manufacturng date is 1905 has some normal wear on it , Patina finish , minimal bluing left . Marking on tang are sharp letters , nice project . . All threads and screw holes in good condition. I do have an other with reblued . Nice condition. please look at listing wp95receiver2 wop
