This is a ORIGINAL Side plate for 1890 and 1906 62 or 62A Winchester pump 22 rifles. This plate slides from front to back into the groove on the left side of your receiver. It covers and holds in the action slide arm in place. It is is held on by the side plate screw part number wp49. Keep in mind, THE FINNISH AND COLOR OF THE ORIGINAL SIDE PLATES VARY DUE TO AGE.
