Sight - Front Marble Arms 31W with a 1/16 IVORY bead .312 high Closest to factory height Winchester .22 cal rifles

This Front Sight is manufactured by Marble Arms Co. here in the US. They are the same company that was making Sights for Winchester, Marlin, Savage, Stevens, Remington, Colt, rifles in 1900. It machined from solid steel to exact standards and then blued. This is the 31W sight that is .531 inches wide at the base of the dovetail and .312 inches high (measured from the top of sight to bottom of dovetail) It has a 1/16 inch IVORY bead. With a simple brass or nylon punch, this sight drifts into the 3/8 inch dovetail cut in the Forearm of the barrel. Winchesterdage adjustment is accomplished using the same technique. The height of the sight is the closest to the factory sights on the Winchester 1890 and 1906 and other pump.22 rifles that came with the very low front sights.
