This is the ORIGINAL crescent metal buttplate that is STRIPPED for the large caliber Winchester 1873 RIFLE. The Winchester 1873 large caliber RIFLE used this buttplate after the serial number 55,000. The finish varies on each buttplate because these are original. Use screws wp57. The trap door, spring and spring-screw are NOT included with the buttplate and can also be purchased as wp321-a and wp180, and wp64-b1.
