This is an ORIGINAL forearm for the Winchester model 62A post war. After the 9140939 production Winchester changed the forearm from the completely round to the the flat-bottom style for the Winchester 62A, and this forearm was retained until the end of production. It has 17 grooves that wrap around the sides of the forearm, and the bottom is flat without grooves. It is a high quality black walnut and ALREADY HAS THE euscutcheons pressed in place to protect the wood from the forearm screws (part # wp42).
