This is the Loading gate PORT  (spring cover) DOOR PIECE ONLY Winchester 1886 lever action rifle. It is milled like the original were (not stamped replacements). This is only the moving part of the  Loading gate, the spring keeps it  closed.Not the stationary part what screwed on to the receiver
