these are the hard-to-find Early Second Model 1890 receiver groups in .22 WRF caliber. Each is composed of a receiver and metal trigger guard, with WRF stamped on the front of the receiver.. The dimensions of these receivers are slightly larger than those made for 22 SHOT or LONG caliberes. These were serial numbered from ~ 15500 through ~ 113000, and only on the tang. The receiver has no serial number. Condition of cover on the metal varies among these receiver groups. There is an option provided for slow-rust bluing for the receiver if you choose.
