This ORIGINAL Winchester 1892 Carbine set consists of all of the external screws on the Winchester 1892 CARBINE. (if you have a Forearm cap that uses 2 screws to hold the forearm on then you need the RIFLE set). You should also be aware that the small-caliber carbines have a front magazine hanger. Many times people use the wrong screwdriver to remove screws and the heads get mangled. This set will allow you to replace those damaged screws. Each screw is individually labeled and the set comes with a schematic. The set includes 1 lever/breechblock pin hole plug screw (wp792); 2 carrier screws (wp71-a); 1 hammer screw (wp71-k); 1 Loading gate (spring cover) screw (wp71-f); 1 tang screw (wp67); 1 upper tang plug screw (wp53); 1 mainspring screw (wp47); 1 mainspring tension screw (wp44); 1 front band screw (wp63); 1 rear band screw (wp62) 2 cartridge guide screws (wp52). 1 magazine plug screw (wp64 or wp64-b); MAKE SURE YOU CHOOSE THE LONG PLUG SCREW OR THE SHORT PLUG SCREW ON THE OPTION FILE BELOW. (if the magazine plug screw sits in a little divot on the underside of your barrel then you want the long screw) You can also choose to add the buttplate screws (wp57) and/or all of the INTERNAL screws at a discounted price to complete your set. Internal screws are; trigger spring screw (wp50) and the locking bolt pin stop screw (wp783).
