This is a NEW LEFT side plate Winchester 1873 3rd model. (This will fit 2nd model if 3rd model side plate screw is used). It has a hole for side plate screw. THIS PART is made in the USA SPECIFICALLY Antique Winchester 1873. They are not blued or polished so you can match the finish to your rifle. Use side plate screw wp606a and Loading gate (spring cover) screw wp71f. I have been working with a local engraver as well to possibly offer engraving as an option.
