High-quality NEW black walnut stock 1873 Winchester Sporting Rifle. WOOD is XXX grade. It fits the 1873 models with a long tang buttplate. The longer tang buttplates came on the 32 cals and some of the early large-caliber rifles. The tang (upper portion of buttplate that curves over the top of stock measures approx 2 1/4 inches from curve to Forearm) Walnut is top quality and stock is 95 percent cut to fit into receiver and tang. All that you need to do is minimal sanding and fitting. All stocks are shipped priority!
