This is an ORIGINAL wire-type trigger spring that was standard on the very early Winchester Model 1892 rifle. This spring also fits The Model 53 and 65. The spring sits inside the lower tang and puts tension on the trigger. It is held in place by the trigger spring screw part number wp50 or wp290-c.
